The 140th meeting of the ACNFP was held at 10.00am on Wednesday 12th February at:

A Committee Paper for Discussion. The Committee considered the safety aspects relating to the proposed use of Roasted Sacha Inchi Seeds
- A Committee Paper for discussion. The Committee considered the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) guidance document on the requirements for whole genome sequence analysis of microorganisms intentionally used in the food chain.
- A Committee Paper for discussion. Follow up discussion on the Committee's previous workshop held at the last meeting on food allergy and assessing food allergenicity in novel foods and GMOs. The Committee considered the key learnings from the session, as a means of informing future ways of working
- A Committee Paper for discussion. The FSA Scientific Advisory Committees were requested to consider and feedback on FSA areas of research interest research questions formulated by the CSA (Chief Scientific Advisor) team. ACNFP members were asked to review and comment on whether the questions accurately reflected R&D needs in the area of novel foods and processes.
