Joint Subgroup of the Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes (ACNFP) and Committee on Toxicity (COT) on CBD and Hemp Derived Products

Group B CBD continuation and THC literature review.

The 8th meeting of the ACNFP/COT CBD Subcommittee will be held at 10:00am on the 7th of November 2023 on Microsoft Teams (online & dial in) as we ease out of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Members are reminded of the need to announce any commercial interests in the business of the Committee prior to the discussions on each item.

In accordance with agreed procedures, the Secretariat is duty bound to keep a record of the names of Members who have declared interests at meetings of the Committee, giving dates, names of relevant products and companies, details of the interest declared, and whether the Member took part in the proceedings.

3. Minutes from the previous meeting – The Secretariat and Subcommittee will review the minutes from July 2023.

4. Group B continuation paper – the subcommittee will review and provide commentary to the FSA on further datasets which concern the group B CBD ingredients. CBD08/2023/01

5. THC Cannabinoid literature review - The Secretariat will return to an ongoing literature review paper concerning the THC cannabinoid. CBD08/2023/02
