Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes - Subcommittee on Products of Genetic Technologies Destined for Food and Feed Purposes.

The 19^th meeting of the ACNFP-PGT will be held at 10:00 am on the 13^th of May at Foss House, Kings Pool, 1-2 Peasholme Green, York Y01 7PR by invitation only and on Microsoft Teams (online & dial in); it is expected to end at 16:30 pm.

Members are reminded of the need to announce any commercial interests in the business of the Committee prior to the discussions on each item.

In accordance with agreed procedures, the Secretariat is duty bound to keep a record of the names of Members who have declared interests at meetings of the Committee, giving dates, names of relevant products and companies, details of the interest declared, and whether the Member took part in the proceedings.

7.  Genetically modified Soy Leghemoglobin IF-KPØ541-7 RP735 (reserved business) – the Subcommittee will review the response to the requests for further information (PGT18) and continue the safety assessment for a new Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) for use in food. ACNFP-PGT/19/01

8. Genetically modified oilseed rape NS-B5ØØ27-4 RP1745 (reserved business) – the Subcommittee will review the response to the requests for further information (PGT17) and continue the safety assessment for a new GMO for use in food and feed. ACNFP-PGT/19/02

9.  Genetically modified RF3 Brassica Juncea (Oilseed rape), RP2178 (reserved business) – the Subcommittee will review the response to the requests for further information (PGT18) and continue the safety assessment for a new GMO for use in food and feed. ACNFP-PGT/19/03

10. Genetically modified Maize DP915635 RP2242 (reserved business) – the Subcommittee will review and provide advice to the FSA on the draft safety assessment outcome for a new GMO for use in food and feed. ACNFP/19/05

11. Discussion on GM applications (reserved business) – the Subcommittee will consider update on GM applications in the system.
