Joint Subgroup of the Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes (ACNFP) and Committee on Toxicity (COT) on CBD and Hemp Derived Products
The 10th meeting of the ACNFP/COT CBD Subcommittee will be held at 10:00am on the 22nd of May 2024 on Microsoft Teams.
Members are reminded of the need to announce any commercial interests in the business of the Committee prior to the discussions on each item.
In accordance with agreed procedures, the Secretariat is duty bound to keep a record of the names of Members who have declared interests at meetings of the Committee, giving dates, names of relevant products and companies, details of the interest declared, and whether the Member took part in the proceedings.

10th Meeting of the ACNFP/COT Subcommittee on CBD and Hemp Derived Products - 22nd May 2024 Agenda
1. Apologies and Announcements.
2. Welcome and Introductions.
3. Minutes from the previous meeting – The Secretariat and Subcommittee will review the minutes from February 2024.
4. Consortium and additional application data - the Secretariat will provide the updated datasets for a group A consortium and a pair of additional group A applications post ADI update. CBD10/2024/01
5. Consideration of further information to support the review of the toxicology of RP11,340,349 and 354 as novel foods – The Subgroup will discuss and review a set of updated group A datasets from applications that have been previously discussed but did not meet the provisional ADI. CBD10/2024/02
6. Characterisation and NOAEL data Mapping and roundtable decision making on future assessment options to support the review of CBD novel food ingredients in for Group B – The Secretariat will present and discuss an evolving exercise which will map out the NOAELs and uncertainties for each application. The Subgroup will also round up the group B discussions and make a decision on the further assessment of this group. CBD10/2024/03
7. AOB - The Secretariat will forward a request from the ACNFP for the Subgroup to edit and comment on the current ADME template used for Committee Advice Documents.
